Louis Carrolls!!!! Alice in Wonderland, Hardback, pre 1914. The book contains this inscription 'To Doris Lester, From Alfred Lester, Jan 12th 1914', however, it doesn't have any details of impression or edition. The only details are- London: JOHN F.SHAW., LTD., 3 pilgrim Street, Ludgate Hill, E.C. It is in good condition for its age, some blemishes and marks, but on a whole nothing to serious (photo of inscription page should give a good idea). It has a lovely Art Nouveau cover and a nice illustration inside with caption "Oh, you sing' said the Gryphon, 'I've forgotten the words'"
